The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy

Divine Mercy
Jesus, I trust in You!

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
(to be recited on ordinary rosary beads)

Begin with:  Our Father..., Hail Mary ..., Apostles' Creed.

Then, on the Our Father Beads you will say the following words:

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity
of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the Hail Mary Beads you will say the following words

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Conclude by reciting, repeating three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.

The Divine Mercy Message and Devotion with Selected Prayers from the Diary of Blessed Faustina

Our Lord said to Blessed Faustine:

The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy was taken from
the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina [Diary §476].

Unceasingly recite this chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death ... Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this chaplet even once, will receive grace from My infinite mercy [Diary §687].

Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given to you
[Diary §1541].

Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who will recite this chaplet [Diary §848] ...

Through the chaplet you will obtain anything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will [Diary §1731] ...

I want the whole world to know My infinite mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in My mercy [Diary §687].

By this Novena, I will grant every possible grace to souls [Diary §796].

At three o'clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of greatest mercy... In this hour I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion [Diary §1320].

The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy
[Diary
§699].

Note on the Divine Mercy:
On April 30, 2000, Pope John Paul II declared that "the Second Sunday of Easter throughout the Church will also be called Divine Mercy Sunday.

To acquire this text, the diary is called:
